mini lush haul/review

so recently i went to lush and i picked up a few things. i thought i would do a mini haul / review. i hope you like it.


let the good times roll

lush's let the good times roll. so this is a facial cleanser. Its mostly popcorn and cinnamon based ingredients. i sought of bought this on a whim but i am so glad i did. it smells like a delicious carmel buttery popcorn smell. If there is a lush near you got smell this. its one of the best scents ever. I love the fact that it has small bits of popcorn. It also has small micro beads. so it gets rid of all your dead skin etc. Leaving your skin really soft. I had a pleasant surprise because i have oily spot prone skin. but when i woke up the next day all my spots were gone. it was shocking but amazing. i really do recommend this. especially if you having any breakouts or blemishes. 5\5. 



the kiss

this is a lip balm/gloss. Its part of the 2013 lush valentine collection. its a very light pink with shimmers. i love the smell and the taste. its very useful for on the go and its perfect for puckering up. this is perfect for firsts dates to . the cover is really cute to which is a plus . 4/5

rimmel london's wake me up foundation

hey guys so this is my first review i hope you like it 

so iam in 400 natural beige which is the darkest shade they do.

it claims it gives you an anti fatigue look. which is great if you don't get a lot of sleep. it also says it very moisturising.theres also spf 15.

my opinion its probably one of the best foundations I've ever tried. it matches my skin perfectly and because its anti fatigue it makes me look awake fresh and bright. it has little shimmers in it but its not noticeable not even in the bottle. it just make you glow. don't worry if you have oily skin cause i do and it didn't make me look oily . this foundation is very easy to blend into your skin. i use a foundation brush. but most recently i tried wetting a sponge and applying it and it gave me an even more dewy finish. it also stayed on for the whole day. i was sitting down and i felt my skin at 7 ish one day and  it was still on perfectly. i love the bottle as well. the fact its glass makes it look even better. i also love the orange pump and cap.

overal out of all the foundations I've tried this is the best.

i really do recommend this foundation. 4.5/5 !

decorating ideas for your room

candles add decoration to any room. i can't stress how much i love candles. they look really good and keep your room smelling nice and fresh.
when picking out the scents take into consideration the season. say its winter hot chocolates and winter berry scents would be perfect. In the summer fruity tropical scents are always a must.
remember all candles come in different shapes and sizes. so its up to you if you want a candle in a tin or glass etc ....

wall stickers are a great way to add art to your room. theres so many different colours sizes. you can even get words. one great thing to get is a quote that inspires you or has meaning to you. those are usually the best.

fairy lights !!!
Fairy lights are perfect for your room. they give that extra umpf. placement is definitely key. places like on your wall round your bed in your curtains. this will give your room that extra sparkle.

camera decor
i love the look of old vintage cameras. they add a lot to your room. you can get them at vintage stores. there very inexpensive as well so thats a bonus. i would place it ether on a shelf or on a bedside table.

jewellery holder
i think with jewellery holders its very customisable. you could use your traditionally jewellery holder or just create one like this picture. what i am saying is you could use whatever you like to hold your jewellery. thats the fun part of picking out a jewlerry holder. you could even make one yourself. (youtube do a lot of them)

what better way to show off you and your friends then with a collage. the great thing about these is they can be as big as you want and you can chose however you want to arrange them. heck you could have a whole wall full of photos if you wanted.

last but not least flowers.
i love flowers especially by the window cill.
the great thing about flowers is that you can chose what ever you want to put them in. one idea is you can get an old lamp bulb clear it out fill it with water. then get the flower of your chose but only one (looks more effective) and voila.

a guide to paris

paris is by far one of my favourite places to go to. I've been countless number of times since i live in the UK paris is like next door to us. I wanted to give you guys a guide on where to stay eat travel shop visit etc etc....
I hope after reading you know a lot more about paris.

accommodation 

whenever i go paris i always stay in the same hotel but trust me it took a while to find the right one. the number one mistake is don't chose one near the outskirts or outside of paris. there is literally nothing to do and to actually get into paris is a nightmare. you'll have to take a bus that probably comes every hour then a train then the metro. trust me its all extra money you don't need to spend. instead book a hotel right in the middle of paris. theres easy access to the metro. theres shops restaurants etc...

this hotel is a bit dear but trust me its so worth it. Its Le Meridian Etolie. one of the reasons i love this hotel is its on a strip full of restaurants. thats right one hotel has trees in it. opposite the hotel is a shopping mall. and at the end of the road is the trusty metro that il talk about later. 

 if you like jazz you'll love this hotel. they have jazz nights were they invite up and coming artist in paris to perform.

another hotel i love and is not as dear is the novotel paris gare montparnasse. It really not very pricey and its in a great location. for more info

There's not much to say other then you need a metro pass for however long your staying. Before you go do your research on which stops go where but you can ask the concierge and they will show you what line to take to get to where you want to go.

restaurant

the best restaurant 's in paris are the small family ones. theres so many to chose from. one of my personal favourite  is one called la maison. thats one of my personal favourites . just walking down the road you could probably find so many restaurants. paris is know for their food so while you there try explore different restaurant. 

shopping

this is probably one of my favourite topics. there so much shopping to do that ill just tell you some of my favourite  places to shop. 

collette paris is one of my fav places. the close upstairs are  very pricy but other then that everything else is not that much.

another place is called la bon marche it has the best cafe on the top and the whole place is amazing. its so good but a bit dear.

champs elysees wich is near the arch de triomphe is a great affordable place for shopping.

i get my hair done round their every time i go.

top 6 perfumes of 2012

2012 was probably my favourite year for perfumes. I experimented and bought a wide range of different fragrances. I wanted to share with you my top 6.

6 ~

Is the Jimmy Choo eau de parfum
I love this fragrance. i took this perfume with me when i was on holiday. And it was the perfect scent for my holiday. I love how the perfume and the box is the same martial that jimmy choo would use on their shoes. I think it was a really clever idea.



5 ~

Is Gucci Première. i normally used this fragrance for when i went out. This fragrance goes really well when your in a dress. I know that sounds really weird but its great for prom , galore nights , posh events   etc .... . Its a very sophisticated scent that i love.




4 ~

Is Daisy eau so fresh by Marc Jacobs
I can't stress how this perfume saved me in the summer. It has this perfect fresh scent . Which is great for those really hot humid days. Because let me tell you this perfume will keep you smelling nice and fresh.


3 ~

Is Christina Aguilera by night . So i know this perfume should sound a lot like number 5 but trust me i didn't really wear this perfume at night funny enough. This perfume is one of my favourite perfumes. I love the bottle the design . I love every thing about it. I normally wear this perfume when i go to school. Because its not to strong but not to subtle.


2 ~

Is fantasy by Nina Ricci . This perfume is the cutest I've seen. Its probably my favourite bottle design out of all these perfumes. I also love the ad for this perfume , I think its young fresh and really girly just like the perfume. This scent lasted a long time on my skin as well.  Its perfect for going on those first dates.

1 ~

Is Angel by Thierry Mugler. yep this is number one. This perfume you'l ether love or hate. A bit like marmite. I literally swear by this perfume. Its my go to scent and it lives in my bag half  the time. I love
the fact its refillable as well. I just think this perfume is amazing , you could wear it to any event night or day. Its a unique scent that i love love love.

hopefully 2013 will bring amazing new fragrances to all us women.

Happy new year everyone.

I hope you've all enjoyed your new year however you celebrated.
2012 was not that good year for me because of all the stress and pressure i put myself threw but i hoping 2013 will be a good year for me and for you.
